Stay alert, safety-conscious and well-informed. Keep healthy. Trust your instincts. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. If you are the victim of a crime and do not want to pursue action within the College system or the criminal justice system, you may want to consider making a confidential report. Bay College promotes personal safety through ongoing information sharing as well as training opportunities. The Crime Prevention and Safety Information brochure describes safety tips relating to a number of different safety related scenarios.

Reporting
All students, employees, and guests should promptly report criminal incidents, accidents and other emergencies by dialing 911 or in the event of a non-emergency by filling out an online report. Anonymous, confidential reporting is also available.

By employing a variety of electronic communication tools, such as text messaging, email, and RSS feeds, emergency messages can be sent simultaneously to registered campus community members via cell phone, home phone, and WiFi enabled devices.

Safe Environments
Bay College strives to provide an environment for study and employment that is free of harassment, discrimination, and violence.
